When the people who commission me for drawings get together and bang their heads about what they'd like to have their character drawn as, a couple of recurring suggestions tend to pop up. One of them, thanks to the proliferation of Kongs in the many Donkey Kong games, is to have their character drawn as a Kong ape.
So let me introduce you to the prototype of this type of drawing, Crypto Kong. The cryptozoologist of Kong Island, Crypto Kong loves finding rare bugs and beasts to show off to Cranky Kong. Is that a golden banana beetle? Oh, my!
