Who hasn't seen Disney's line of Disney Princess toys, clothes, videos, and hair care accessories, and thought to themselves, "Wouldn't this be better with Nintendo princesses? Hell, I'd buy that!"

No? Just me? Well, that's all right. At any rate, here's the rundown of the princesses and an explanation for their inclusion:

Peach - Peach is the quintessential Nintendo princess. Her personality is kind, but she's kinda dumb. However, she doesn't shy away from a challenge.

Daisy - Spunky and obsessed with sports and physical activity, Daisy is often the instigator of arguments between the princesses, but doesn't hold grudges.

Rosalina - A dreamer, she enjoys astronomy and is the "brain" of the bunch. I... didn't intend for her to look so much like Paris Hilton.

Zelda - The serious one. Always keeping her decorum in check, she gets embarassed easily. This makes it more enjoyable when she finally just has fun.

Palutena - The peacemaker. Wide-eyed and a little spacy, Palutena is always ready to tell a weird story that relates to the situation.

Midna - The fish out of water (taking the place of Ariel). Midna joins her friends by coming through the mirror, and often doesn't understand the way things are I guess.

Krystal - Taking the place of Pocahontas, Krystal... she's the tribal friend? Does everyone have a token tribal friend? I don't, and now I feel bad about that.

Samus - Quiet your thunderous cries of "She's not a princess"! She's the closest thing the Chozo have to a princess. Naturally, she butts heads with Daisy, and loves to climb and do gymnastics.

I didn't finish out the artwork because, frankly, I just don't have the time. I wanted to get this idea out there and let it be seen and mark it off of my personal to-do list. Also, it looks cool in sketchy-form.

Actually, Samus could easily fit as the Mulan counterpart. Mulan disguised herself as a man, and Samus was mistaken for a man at first. Plus, they're both not princesses.
