I like to do these close-up, 500x500 portraits of my characters, so when I put up the other two Tex Tornado shots, I figured he was due one.

I used an actual cow skull picture for reference, so he appears a little different than usual. But overall, it's not a big difference. Techniques used in this picture include: different highlight layers, combination blended and stark shadows, the stone-washed look I invented for the *ario Bros. picture, and my usual method of drawing grass, which makes for some particularly good-looking grass.

I really wanted to shoehorn his hands into the picture, because they're awesome and I love drawing them, but it really would have been ten pounds of shit in a two-pound bag.
